摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure physical strength, electrochemical activity and electric conductivity to the fullest extent by forming cabon electrodes of porous organic matrixes substantially carbonized under a nonoxidizing condition, and giving isotropic electric conductivity. SOLUTION: A sample of polyurethane foam is heated at 220 to 230 deg.C in the air, and is preliminarily processed. Next, one of samples is carbonized at 800 deg.C for 12 hours in a nitrogen atmosphere, and carbon electrodes 52 and 53 are obtained. Then, the carbon electrodes 52 and 53 are formed of porous organic matrixes 20 and 30 substantially carbonized under a nonoxidizing condition, and isotropic electric conductivity is given. Then, a conductive polymer sheet and carbon felt are placed on two conductive plates, an since an electric current can be flowed while applying pressure to the plates, a problem of forming protrusion can be avoided, and a structure 40 having satisfactory sheet resistivity can be obtained.
