Biaxially oriented polymer film (A) is produced from a mixt. of 70-99 pts.wt. polyester resin (B) with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4-0.9 dl/g and contg. not less than 60 wt.% ethylene terephthalate units, and 1-30 pts.wt. polyolefin resin (C) with a melt flow index (MFI) of 1.5-25 g/10 mins.; the film also contains 0.1-25 pts.wt. inorganic particles (D).
