<p>Blood glucose levels in patients with Diabetes Mellitus is stabilized at 60 mg/dl for at least 6 hours by ingesting a complex carbohydrate, preferably uncooked cornstarch, in the dose of about 0.1 to 1.0 gram per kilogram of body weight.</p>
