Pulse interference elimination systems for video signals

The interference elimination system, used for high amplitude interference pulses in an input video signal, replaces the image points exhibiting interference by the corresponding image points of the preceding video image. Pref. the video signals (V1, V2) of the actual image and an image delayed by a half or full period are compared, to detect the high amplitude pulse interference in the actual video signal, to provide a control signal for switching to the delayed video signal (V2), in dependence on an absolute difference signal (G), and a filtered movement signal (M).
