The device consists of a disc sieve (1) with toothed or polygonal discs (4). These rise in direction of transportation, and/or a number of similar disc sieves may be positioned behind each other in steps (8). The first sieve is supplied via a conveyor chute or an ejector device. The inclination of the sieves is adjustable, and disc RPM is also adjustable, pref. individually. The RPM increases from one sieve to the next. The discs may be hexagonal or octagonal, and have a diameter of 200 - 350 mm, pref. 250 - 300 mm.
