Geared drive for positioning work boards around computer work stations

The drive is designed to be mounted so that a work board can be adjusted in height, distance, and angle of slope relative to the user. In an upper position the board is tilted downwards, and in a lower position the board is tilted upwards. The board is fitted with a geared drive crank between the supporting frame (10) and at least one component of the adjusting mechanism (30).The drive can consist of a geared motor and pivoting crank, and may have a safety coupling fitted between them. At least one link of the mechanism can also be adjustable in length, and the drive can be transmitted via an eccentric disc fitted with contour sensing control switches.
