PURPOSE:To form a material with high electric insulation resistance suitable to an inductor core and wiring base substance by letting CuO contain into the base of antiferromagnetic Zn ferrite. CONSTITUTION:A usual material with high electric insulation resistance for an inductor can be realized by letting CuO contain into the base of antiferromagnetic base. The content of CuO is within a range of 1 to 12mol%, of which 5mol% or higher is most suitable. Furthermore, the limitation of Fe2O3 amount is effective to raise the electric insulation resistance, and the effective range of Fe2O3 is desirably within 30 to 52mol%. Because the effective range of CuO amount is limited to 1 to 12mol% as started above, the amount of ZnO is unavoidably limited to 36 to 69mol%. Thereby, the inductor core with a low increase in eddy current loss for high-frequency band use as well as with a little change in inductance against the contraction force of armoring resin can be obtained. |
