PURPOSE:To simplify the control system of the copying machine by using the same distance from the front edge of the picture of an original to a transfer means even when a latent image is formed on a transfer belt body with the use of a different optical system. CONSTITUTION:The angular displacement of an exposure plate 40 is carried out in such a manner that the distance in the original copying mode from the position P1 of the front edge of the picture of an original to a pressuring devel opment position is equal to the distance in the slide copying mode from the position P2 of the front edge of the picture of an original to the pressuring development position. Therefore, it is not necessary to change at every copying mode the timing at which an image receiving sheet is carried to the pressuring development position. Thus, the control system, for example, a program for controlling the timing at which an image receiving sheet is carried, is simplified, and the control of copying is facilitated. |
