PURPOSE:To execute the plate making of a commercial printed matter such as a leaflet by a computer processing by using a layout system for printing plate making containing a first and a second layout data generating means, a layout data generating means for partial plate, a makeup image data generating means, etc. CONSTITUTION:The first layout data generating means 30b records a first layout data containing a clipping data of an image in plural first recording mediums FD1A, FD1B, and the second layout data generating means 43a generates a second layout data containing a graphic data and a planar plex data and records it in plural second recording mediums FD2A, FD2B. Said data are read by a reading means 60b, a layout data for partial plate generating means 60a combines these layout data and a makeup image data generating means 60c generates an image data brought to makeup, of a one page portion of a printed matter. Thereafter, a partial plate generating means generates plural original plates with respect to one page of the printed matter 1. In such a way, a complicated clipping work is not executed at all and the greater part of a plate making work of the printed matter such as a leaflet can be processed by a computer. |
