PURPOSE:To effectively reduce the seizure of a steel plate especially of a stainless steel at the time of hot rolling by distributing a graphite having a prescribed mean area as to one particle in a metal structure of a rolling roll for hot rolling a thin steel plate. CONSTITUTION:The graphite having 1500-10000 mum<2> mean area of the single particle is distributed uniformly in the metal structure of the rolling roll for hot rolling the thin steel plate. In this way, the limits of a rolling reduction, rolling reaction force, rolling speed, etc., are able to be alleviated or removed, the generation of surface flaws be reduced and the quality of the rolling products be improved. |
