A conveyor for individualising products comprises a flexible transport belt with an expansion section which widens in the advance direction and contracts in the belt return direction. The novelty is that a take-off section (4) is located after the expansion section (3) in the advance direction (7) and has a transverse width corresponding to the width of the belt (1) at the end of the expansion section (3). Both sections (3,4) are arranged along the advance direction (7) and the belt (1) is translucent, a lighting device (8) being located under at least part of the take-off section (4). Pref. at least regions of the belt (1) have a non-stick coating, pref. of silicone rubber.
