PURPOSE:To provide a recording material capable of being bonded to an article by electrostatic attraction force and suitable for ink jet recording. CONSTITUTION:A recording material is obtained by forming an ink receiving layer 2 and an electrostatic attraction layer 3 composed of a porous layer formed from an electrostatically chargeable polymer on the single surface of a substantially transparent plastic support 1. A mirror image is recorded on the recording material on the side of the electrostatic attraction layer 3 to be fixed to the ink receiving layer 2. The electrostatic attraction layer 3 is rubbed with an article 5 to be recorded to be bonded to the electrostatically charged surface thereof. The formed image 4 is protected by the plastic support 1 and can be looked from the plastic support 1. |
