PURPOSE:To provide a document retrieval device which can suppress an unpleasant feeling that an operator has at the time of display monitoring owing to lack of unity of the size of retrieved and displayed documents. CONSTITUTION:The document filing device has a data recording part 30 which stores the attribute, document size, and document image of a document relatively, a retrieval condition input part 42 which inputs attribute information on the document to be retrieved, and a data read part 51 which retrieves the data recording part 30 by using the inputted attribute information and reads out the image data and document size of the document having the document attribute corresponding to the attribute information. Further, the device has a display control part 52 which holds display order data by document sizes rearranged in display order, retrieves the document size of the extracted document on the basis of the document sizes taken out of the display order data by the document sizes in order, and takes document image data having the matching document size in order, and a display part 60 which receives and displays the selected document image data in order. |
