<p>PURPOSE:To provide a system for issuing an alarm when a traveling vehicle abnormally gets close to a traveling lane border line. CONSTITUTION:Markers 2 provided with resonant objects are embedded at prescribed intervals at prescribed positions on a road surface 4 of a vehicle traveling lane, the exciting signals of markers 2 are transmitted from a warning device 1 loaded on a vehicle 3, excited signals from the markers 2 in response to these exciting signals are received by the warning device 1, and the alarm is issued by detecting the abnormal approach of the vehicle to the traveling lane border line from its reception level. When the alarm is separately issued for each class (such as a center line 5 or an outside line 6) of the traveling lane border line, the signals are alternately exchanged between the warning device 1 and the markers 2 by antennas 104A and 104B, the antenna related R the exchange of signals at the time of receiving the excited signal exceeding the set level from any marker 2 is identified, the class of the traveling lane border line is judged based on this identified result, and the alarm is displayed in a different form for each relevant class.</p> |
