<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for liquefying and recycling polystyrene foam waste by which a liq. product is obtd. safely and efficiently in a high yield. CONSTITUTION:This method comprises the first step wherein a polystyrene foam waste H crushed with a crusher 1 is fed into a net container 2, where the waste H is dissolved by liq. styrene sprayed with a styrene spraying apparatus 4; the second step wherein the resulting soln. passes through the container 2 while leaving behind undissolved foreign matters in the container 2; the third step wherein the soln. is heated to a low temp. with a low-temp. heating apparatus 6 and poured into a vacuum tank 5, where a part of styrene evaporates and is sent to a styrene tank 3 kept at normal temp. and pressure to be returned to liq. styrene; and the fourth step wherein the vacuum tank 5 is released from vacuum and the soln. remaining in the tank 5 is taken out as the product.</p> |
