PURPOSE: To produce a catalyst suitable for hydrocracking and hydrogenation of aromatics-contg. petroleum hydrocarbon feedstocks such as hydrocracked feedstock, virgin feedstock, vacuum distillate, middle distillate and mixture thereof. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst consists of a porous catalytically active support composed of alumina, titania and pentasil crystalline zeolite wherein the surface area thereof is within a range of about 200-450 m<2> /g and at least about 95% of the pores thereof has a pore diameter range of about 20-600 angstromes, at least one group VI-B element in the periodic table, and at least one transition metal of group VIII elements in the periodic table. |
