<p>PURPOSE:To provide a structure for protecting a wire harness against water while keeping it from becoming bulky. CONSTITUTION:A tape 10, where a thermally foaming adhesive material 12 is applied on a tape base material 11, is wound around a group of cables at both ends of the waterproof area including the splice part S of a wire harness, and a waterproof sheet 16, where an adhesive material is applied on the inner face, is wound between the tapes positioned at both these ends, and both ends are bonded with the tape 10, and also the waterproof sheet itself 16 is fixed into the shape of a tube, and besides the thermally foaming adhesive material 12 is heated and expanded so as to fill up the space between a group of cables and the waterproof sheet 16.</p> |
