AUTOMATIC DRIVE CONTROLLER OF ROLLING STOCK

PURPOSE:To control a train to arrive at the next station at the predetermined time by providing a time-location pattern to compare the target location of the train at the current time with the actual train location to determine a drive command depending on a deviation of such locations. CONSTITUTION:A clock 12 outputs the current time 30 and a target location generator 13 makes reference to the time-location pattern 21 and the current time 30 to output the target location 22 of the train at the current time 30. Moreover, a train velocity 28 detected by the velocity detector 3 is applied to a location calculator 17 to calculate the actual location 24 therein. A location controller 14 detemines a drive command 26 depending on deviation between the target location 22 and actual train location 24. This drive command 26 is applied to the drive apparatus 2 for the control so that the train location 24 becomes equal to the target location 22. Thereby, the train can arrive the next station at the predetermined time.
