PURPOSE:To quickly and surely implement remote operation control for a controlled system by transmitting a modulated light having a directivity depending on the control operation without needing troublesome setting operation as to the transmission direction of light. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter is provided with a control unit 25 generating a control signal in response to the operation of an operation switch, plural light emitting sections 21U, 21C, 21L taking the light emitting state to emit a modulated infrared ray in a different optical axis direction corresponding to the control signal from the control unit 25, an elevating angle/azimuth angle detection section 23 detecting at least one direction of the light emitting sections 21U, 21C, 21L and a switch setting selectively at least one of the light emitting sections 21U, 21C, 21L into the light emitting state depending on a detection output signal from the elevating angle/azimuth angle detection section 23. |
