PURPOSE:To realize by means of a conventional combustion blower a cooling action at an upper portion of a front plate when a convection blower is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Provided in a frame 1 is a blast passage 4, through which combustion gas in a combustion chamber 3 is fed to a burner 2 and an upper portion of the burner 2, provided on an inlet side of the blast passage 4 is a convection blower 5, provided on an outlet side of the blast passage 4 is a blowout opening 6, and provided in the vicinity of the burner 2 is a combustion blower 7. Provided at an upper portion of the blowout opening 6 is an air chamber 9 provided with a slit 10 which is communicated to an upper edge of the blowout opening 6. Connected to the air chamber 9 is a pipe 11, through which air separated from the combustion blower 7 is fed. Thus even when the convection blower 5 stops, air fed to the air chamber 9 is made to blow out from the slit 10 while forming a thin air layer at the upper portion of a front plate, so that a low temperature air layer is formed between the front plate of the frame 1 and combustion gas to eliminate temperature rise of the frame 1. |
