<p>PURPOSE:To easily decide the factor when a vehicle enters an emergency state. CONSTITUTION:A drive recorder is provided with a steering sensor which detects the rotation of a steering wheel. The steering sensor is equipped with two photointerrupters and outputs output signals SS1 and SS2 which have a specific phase shift (r) corresponding to whether the steering wheel is rotated clockwise (RS direction) or counterclockwise (SL direction). An ECU detects and records the angle S of the steering wheel with the output signals at specific intervals of a sampling time (t). Consequently, the manipulated variable DELTAS can clearly be known from the recorded data together with the rotating operation direction of the steering wheel, and it can be decided whether or not sudden steering operation is done.</p> |
