PURPOSE:To prevent a stick from striking against other pedestrian in the night time, by providing a switch which can be operated by a visually handicapped person, a sound source and a light source on a stick body and by making a sound generation control from the sound source and a light illumination control from the light source dependent on the switch. CONSTITUTION:A stick body 1 is composed of a switch 2, a buzzer 3 which is a sound source, an electric bulb 4 which is a light source, a screwed-in type cap 5, a protecting cap 6, a hand strap 7, a lighting slit 9, and a dry battery 10. The switch 2 can be switched over to three steps of upper, middle and lower. When the switch 2 is set to upper, the buzzer 3 and the electric bulb 4 are switched off. And when the switch 2 is set to middle, the buzzer 3 is switched on. Furthermore, when the switch 2 is set to lower, the electric bulb 4 is switched on and the buzzer 3 is switched off. When a hand is apart from the switch 2 after the switch 2 is set to middle or lower, the switch 2 returns to upper automatically and the buzzer 3 and the electric bulb 4 are switched off. Thus, foregetting switching off is prevented. |
