PURPOSE:To provide the novel compound having a phospholipase A2-inhibiting action, an interleukin-1 production-inhibiting action and a carageening podedema- inhibiting action, and useful for treating and preventing allergic diseases, inflammatory diseases, ischemic angiopathy, etc. CONSTITUTION:This compound is expressed by formula I (R<1> is H, benzoyl, etc.; R<2> is H, halogen, etc.; R<3>, R<4> are H, alkyl; Het is 2-aminothiazol-4-yl, 5- ethoxycarbonyl-4-phenylthiazol-2-yl, etc.), e.g. 4-acetyl-8-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-6- chloro-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzoxazine hydrobromide. The compound is obtained e.g. by brominating a compound of formula II (R<13> is H, carboxyl, etc.) with bromine in chloroform and subsequently reacting the reaction product with a compound of formula II [R<7> is alkyl, phenyl, etc., and R<8> is =N-R<9> (R<9> is phenyl, etc.), or R<7> is H and R<8> is alkyl, amino, etc.] in ethanol. |
