PURPOSE:To obtain the terminal equipment in which smooth communication is realized by using a correction delay means to delay voice data by a required time only when moving picture data are sent/received in the multi-medium terminal equipment sending/receiving moving picture data and voice data. CONSTITUTION:A control section 16 activates a delay circuit 9 when moving picture data by a main camera equipment 4 or a video tape reproducing device 6 or the like are sent to delay digital voice data by a time corresponding to a deviation in a modulation time between the moving picture data and the voice data via a VOCODER 8 or the like. Then the delayed voice data and a moving picture via moving picture CODEDC 13 are multiplexed at a multiplexer/demultiplexer 10 and the multiplexed data are sent. When the voice data and a still picture via a camera for paintings and calligraphy 5 are sent, the circuit 9 is deenergized. The processing above is similar to the case of received data, and the multi-medium terminal equipment is obtained in which the response to the transmission/reception of a still picture and to the speech with voice data only is improved and smooth communication is executed.
