TERMINAL CONTROLLER FOR DETECTING SPECIFIC FRAME

PURPOSE:To detect a specific frame which is comparatively easily detected at a high speed with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Plural stations A-Y each comprising a line terminator 2 connected to a line 1 and a terminal equipment controller 3 interfacing an interface 4 connected to the line terminator 2 form the token passing bus system. The terminal equipment controller 3 is provided with a transmission control LSI 31 interfacing the interface 4, a central processing unit 32 connected to the transmission control LSI 31, and a detection circuit 5 interfacing with the interface 4 and detecting a specific frame sent from a predetermined station. The detection circuit 5 has a decoder function decomposing signals from the line terminator 2 into valid data and a storage means storing comparison pattern data specifying the specific frame and time series data of the valid data decomposed from the signals by the decoder function and comparison pattern data are compared.
