<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an original feeding device capable of immediately correcting a direction in the case of recognizing that an original is curvedly inserted by movably providing an upper roller in a direction where is freely attaches/ detaches to/from a lower roller. CONSTITUTION:This original feeding device feeding the manually supplied original by a roller pair constituted of the upper roller 7 and the lower roller 6 is movably provided with the upper roller 7 in the direction where it freely attaches/detaches to/from the lower roller 6, and also a roller release mechanism making the upper roller 7 away from the lower roller 6, and making the original free from the roller pair. Especially, the release mechanism is actuated by a foot switch 100 operated by the foot of an operator. Thus, the direction of the erroneously curvedly inserted original can be easily corrected, and also the operation for releasing a carrying roller so as to make the original free can be performed without using a hand by means of the foot switch 100, so that correction operation can be easily performed.</p> |
