<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a refreshing circuit suppressed in current consumption by making a refreshing operation toward a dynamic RAM (a DRAM) to the irreducible minimum. CONSTITUTION:A refreshing counter 9 is counted with a fixed period by a timer 8 and also counter down every time when a DRAM 2 is refreshed. When the counted value of the counter 9 is greater than a prescribed value, the refreshing operation toward the DRAM 2 is judged to be necessary and the refreshing operation is performed during the period when a ROM 3 is accessed by the CPU 1.</p> |
