PURPOSE:To improve accuracy and durability of a hood sensor. CONSTITUTION:By setting up a hood sensor 13, comprising a sensor main unit 13a and a pressing member 13b, in the vicinity of a hood cushion 14 and further between a hood 12 and a radiator support 15, even when sensitivity is increased by decreasing a clearance alpha between the sensor main unit 13a and the pressing member 13b, erroneous operation can be prevented. When an impact hardening member is sealed in a rubber housing, to serve as the pressing member, the clearance alpha is automatically adjusted, to hold stable sensor accuracy. |
