<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a disk exchanger by making a part of a disk occupy partly a magazine area in a record/reproduction mode. CONSTITUTION: A magazine 20 and a deck mechanism 30 are arranged diagonally to each other in a main body 200, and a selected disk 100 is held between the guide rollers 55 and moved to the recording/reproducing position from a tray 101 via revolutions of a lever member 70. Under such conditions, a turntable 52 is placed near the magazine 20 in a housing and a part of the disk 100 occupies a part of the magazine 20 when the disk 100 is mounted on the turntable 52. As a result, the total size of a disk exchanger is reduced by an amount equal to a part of the magazine 20 that is occupied by the disk 100.</p> |
