<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate installation, decrease the number of component parts, and protect metal pipes laid in a row at a certain spacing by covering the pipes over the circumference solidly with a synthetic resin for their specified length. CONSTITUTION:Metal pipings 2 for car consisting of fuel piping, brake piping, cooler piping, etc., are laid parallel at a certain spacing, and a synthetic resin is extruded to the parallel portion for a certain specified length so that a covering part 22 is formed, which covers the whole peripheral surface of each metal pipe 2 and is structured in a single piece. Beside the metal pipes 2, a plurality of protrusive mounting parts 23 are formed at a certain spacing for mounting on a car interior plate 5 formed from a synthetic resin in a single piece with the covering part 22. A piping unit 21 can be mounted simply by inserting bolt 25 in a hole in the mounting part 23 and putting in engagement with a nut 26 on the interior plate 5 side. The metal pipe 2 is protected from stones, etc., which are slung by tires.</p> |
