The apparatus for preventing explosive ignition, has a battery powered electromagnetic valve for identifying the normal operation of the sparker without the flame detecting circuit, comprises a switch section(1) for controlling the supply of the battery voltage; a power supply circuit section(2) for transforming the supply voltage to the constant voltage; a sparker driving section(3) for driving the sparker when the ignition switch is operated; an electromagnetic valve driving section(4) for selectively applying the voltage to the electromagnetic valve; a low voltage detecting section(5) for transmitting different control signals to the sparker and the sections(3,4) when the output voltage of the battery is lower than the set voltage; a spark detecting section(6) for detecting the spark generated at the sparker.
