The device is designed to prevent damage or power waste from occurring by idling of the water supply valve or the pump when water is turned off. The water supply device supplies tap water through a pretreating filter and a secondary filter to be forced through a reverse osmosis membrane for further filtering, while the concentrated filtrate is discharged through a discharge line to be detected by a sensor which activates a control for operation of the supply valve and the pump.
