The method comprises the steps of checking whether a command for holding a first line is applied or not; checking whether a command for holding a second line is applied or not; checking whether the first line is cancelled from holding state; setting a first line hold flag; checking whether the second line is cancelled from holding state; setting the second line hold flag; checking whether or not the first and second line hold flags are set together; feeding back to the first step; checking whether or not the first line hold flag is set when the first and second hold flags are not set together; feeding back to the first step; checking whether or not the second line hold flag is set if the first line hold flag is not set at step 9; feeding back to the first step after generating a beep sound; and feeding back to the first step if the second line hold flag is not set at step 11.
