The device comprises a levelling rule (1) carried by a self-propelled vehicle. It has a self-supporting main frame (2) which consists of two arms, each of which is formed from an upright (15,16) and a horizontal beam (17,18) and are pivotably joined at three points to the levelling rule (1). Two longerons which is attached to a tractor with lifting forks or a fork lift truck. It has a self supporting frame (2) . There are two longerons (4,5) being streamlined slides (6,7) which allow the fork (3) of the vehicle to be inserted. The fork is held in place by lock screws (10,11).
