An aq. soln. to be evapd. is sprayed into a container with two honeycombed plates mounted opposite one another. Wind passes through the first plate, evapg. the liq. but also releasing fine droplets. The droplets are trapped and coalesce on the second plate, preventing dispersion of pollutants to the environment.
