Rotationally symmetrical vibration damper in wind power generator

The damper is mounted between a machine housing pivoting about a vertical axis, and suspension power of a rotor driven wind power generator. The machine housing has a baseplate (1) with a central element (7) having a conical form, with it's greatest outer diameter (D) being greater than the smallest diameter (d) of the second conical metal ring (4). The conical ring body (3,6) is of vulcanised elastomeric material, and the second conical ring has a radially inwards extending projection (41) which connects with a flange (71) on the central element. The flange has a vulcanised rubber ring (8) on its axially internal face, which in the unloaded condition of the damper is located a small distance from the projection.
