The test system contacts with the tank wall (9) of the liquid tank being tested across an adjusting system (8). A reference point (10) needed for the filling level measurement is arranged advantageously at the partition wall (4). The adjusting system (8) for the positional adjustment compared to the liquid level (11) of the tank, is arranged operable from above.
