The rail has an opening (2) which is bordered by the longitudinal walls of the rail (3) which also form inwardly turning lips. An anchoring device is provided with a support part which engages with the lips. The support part (6) of the anchor unit (7) is inserted into the opening (2) in the rails, in a preassembly position, characterised to the lengthwise direction of the rails. The support part has elastically movable arms (10) which grip behind protuberances (5) on the assembly rail (1), when the anchor unit is fitted in. The support arms elastically movable towards each other are bent outwards in opposite directions from their inserted end to the free ends (11). At least parts of the support arms are V- or U-shaped. The support part and counter-holder (9) fit into each other, by the connecting arms (16) of the support part gripping over the holder arms (19) of the counter-holder. The holder arms have guide arms (20) on their free ends.
