The control circuit for the proportional valve (10) contains a shut-off device. This shuts off a pressure line (12b) with the reference pressure (P1), and a pressure line (12a,12c) with a signal pressure (X1), which is proportional to the deviation, independent of the position of the reference value lifting unit. Due to this, the deviation on the proportional valve is zero. Both pressure lines branch off a control line (12) for the pilot pressure (P1), upstream of a control valve. This is associated with the lifting unit, and contains the shut-off device.
