Captive threaded sleeve for screw

The sleeve has a cylindrical main section threaded on the inside and with a mounting flange (17) to align against the mounting surface (7). Two tags (31) are pressed from the mounting flange and extend through slits in the mounting surface where they can be bent over to secure the fitting. The tags are set diametrically opposite to each other and are spaced by at least the ID of the sleeve. The tags are curved in a concentric circle to the sleeve and cover by approx. 60 deg. The sleeve has a tapering section between the threaded section and the mounting flange, and is mfd. by deep pressing.
