Seal testing device for checking gas pipe systems

The arrangement contains a flat test aperture plate (32), which can be installed between two gas pipe flanges to interrupt the gas pipe system, and two separate channels ending in connectors for a pressure or leakage rate measurement device. One channel opens into the pipe system upstream of the plate and the other downstream.The test plate is made of two half plates in sandwich form. Each half plate has at least one slot on both faces forming a channel with that on the other plate, and an opening which opens into the gas pipe and communicates with the slot.
