Lamp holder for electrical installation device

The lamp holder (10) has a socket (14) for the lamp, coupled to the electrical installation device for supplying the lamp. The socket is provided by a centre limb (12) of the lamp holder and has opposing supply contacts (22), acting as contact rails cooperating with the lamp contacts. Pref. the lamp holder is T-shaped, with the horizontal limb (16) having terminal contacts (18) at either end, cooperating with corresponding terminal contacts of the electrical installation device. The lamp holder is pref. made of an electrically insulating thermoplastics material, the contacts fitted via an insert technique.
