Sticking foil to concave surface of TV reception satellite dish

A flat support pad can be placed over the non-adhesive side of the foil for placing over the peripheral region of the dish. The pressure necessary to ensure adhesion can be applied by pressing a piece of soft material around the edge areas. A relative movement is then made between the piece of material and the dish so that the former describes a spiral path to approach and finally reach the centre of the dish, pressure being applied continuously during this movement. Pressure can alternatively be applied by a fluid medium, pref. compressed air giving even pressure.
