The cardboard sheet after being cut has two lateral regions (11,12) to form side tabs, a front region (13) and a covering region (14) surrounding the centre (15) which eventually forms the back of the sleeve. It is folded (16) along four pairs of parallel lines so that a circular spot (17.1) in the centre of the back, equal in size to the hole in a compact disc, comes into contact with a similar spot (17.2) in the centre of the front. The two spots are mutually adhesive or otherwise co-operative to prevent movement of the enclosed disc.
