<p>The invention relates to a linear motion block unit which comprises a bearing adapted to move along a cylindrical guide, a female thread such as spline nuts or the like, a linear motion block adapted to run astride a guide rail, a guide rail, a ball screw shaft rotatably supported, and a square nut adapted to thread onto the ball screw shaft. The linear motion block unit has a feature in that a resin, in which carbon fibers are dispersed, is provided on contacting and sliding portions of the block unit. The linear motion block unit can provide a favorable and smooth slide without the medium of ball bearings or the like, and is almost free of play and noises, and does not cause abrasion and injury of a mating member, on which the block unit slides. Furthermore, the linear motion block unit is relatively inexpensive.</p> |
