Lock for transfer of passengers through hostile atmosphere
摘要
The lock enables people to move from one atmospheric system to another through a hostile environment. Positional variations or uncertainties between the system which the passengers are leaving and the target system are equalised by means of a three-dimensional position matching system. The position matching system controls the position of the lock using electromotor systems via a gearbox. In the moveable area of the lock, the atmospheric systems and the hostile environment are separated by an elastic bellows-like seal. A sensor system is used to monitor the positioning of the lock to ensure accurate positioning and to restrict the range of movement of the lock.
