<p>A saw table for a mitre saw comprises a horizontal table, a vertical stop arranged at an angle thereto for the positioning of a workpiece, and a saw support mounted on said horizontal table for a saw to mount thereon so as to permit the alignment of the saw in an arbitrary number of angles for permitting the workpiece to be cut at an angle. The horizontal table has a plurality of stop protrusions protruding upwards with predetermined thickness from the top surface of the horizontal table. The stop protrusions are spacedly aligned along the longitudinal length and the transverse width of the horizontal table so as to accommodate a corner edge of the workpiece to rest at the space between two adjacent rows of the stop protrusions, so that the two adjacent sides of the corner edge are abutted against two adjacent rows of the stop protrusions respectively and one side of the workpiece which is immediately adjacent the corner edge is inclined to touch with the upper edge of the vertical stop. <IMAGE></p> |
