Disclosed are optically pure compounds, which are Na+, Mg2+, Li+, Ca2+ or N+(R)4 salt of (-)-5-methoxy-2-[[(4-methoxy-3,5-dim ethyl-2-pyridyl)methyl]sulphinyl]-1H-benzimidazole, wherein R is C1-4 alkyl group, their preparation method and pharmaceutical pre parations containing these compounds as active substances, also u se of these compounds for preparation of pharmaceutical preparati ons and intermediates for preparation of such compounds.
