PURPOSE:To shorten the molding cycle of a molding machine, by press molding a preliminarily set sheet material of a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:A sheet material consisting of (A) 30-100 parts by wt. of a thermosetting resin, e.g. unsaturated polyester, phenolic resins, etc., (B) 0-70 parts by wt. of glass fiber, and (C) 0-70 parts by wt. of powdery or platy inorganic filler is set, and heated at the heat distortion temperature or above, then press molded by a mold at a temperature at least 10 deg.C lower than the heat distortion temperature to form a molded thermosetting resin. The molding temperature is preferably 150- 300 deg.C. |
