Diesel engine fuel injection system

A fuel injection system for diesel IC engines includes a fuel pump and jets (nozzles) for spraying fuel into the combustion chambers of the engine. In order to provide pre-heating of the fuel without requiring any additional power consumption, such as for example cooling water heating as in earlier methods, and for easy integration into the fuel system, the remaining free leakage oil connection of one jet holder (D4) is connected via a second branch line (N2) to the suction side of the direct (forward) line (V).
